(re-listing due to non paying winner) This is a fun car to drive, (but not too fast, more a cruiser) with the M-44 four-cylinder motor (not the 6 cylinder) which is very reliable. (this is same motor they used at first in the Z-3) It has a timing chain, not a belt. These cars are stiffly sprung and really handle. But if you are not familiar with them, go drive, as they can be "rough riding" to those not used to the feel of an older BMW. cruise control, heated seats, lights and gauges all fine. No leaks. Occasionally the "check engine" lamp will go on, but goes away, depending on gas brand. Tried different brands, I'm now using Murphy Oil (Wal-Mart) regular and it runs fine and the "check engine" light is out. I had it checked and the code says it is the "sensor" in the exhaust pipe. --OEM size tires : Falkens on back with about 50% tread left. Michelins on front with about 10% tread left. Spare is the original Continental and has never been used. --Replaced the windshield (rocks) --Manual Top. --Replaced the top: note are now some gaps in the back seat area, and sometimes rain drips at corners. --i always use my local BMW Dealer for oil and filter changes. (synthetic castrol) --trunk lid was replaced and the rear area re-painted when neighbor backed into the car while parked. --ding/scratch on back bumper, see picture, due to my backing onto a sign in parking lot --original wheels, they all have curb rash --replaced front brake pads when lamp on dash came on (dealer did work) --selling due to this being my 'fun' car, but always in the 750i now, and car is sitting rarely used TERMS --I will need to keep the license plate to turn in to my local motor vehicles. --You are responsible for transporting the car. I can drive to local wal-mart lot to make the transfer. --If not happy you don't have to buy. But once money has changed hands then sale is final. sorry, but no warranty. --PAYING : certified bank check / i will take a personal check, but you would need to let it clear NO PAYPAL --I will sign title to you, (title is clear), spare key, owner's manual, original dealers window sticker. I will need to keep the license plate to turn into the dept. motor vehicles, so be aware if you are driving it away, you need a temporary plate
