THIS IS THE REAL DEAL VIDEO OF IT RUNNING AND DRIVING ALONG WITH OVER 80 PICS AT https://1967fj40.shutterfly.com SURVIVOR UNMOLESTED UNRESTORED NUMBERS MATCHING NEARLY ALL ORIGINAL INCLUDING THE PAINT UNDOCUMENTED AT JUST OVER 13,000 MILES STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS AND DRIVES WELL CLEAR AND CLEAN TITLE This Land Cruiser is extremely rare because of the near-all-original condition it is in and the incredibly low mileage. This vehicle was purchased by the original owner to be used to take their boat from their lake house to the lake and back. That is primarily all it was used for. The vehicle has been garage kept most of its 49 year life. The original owner passed away and his wife titled it in her name in 1975. Then it sat unused except for an occasional drive for most of the remainder of its lifetime. It was then purchased by a gentleman to restore it in 2013. He did not have time to restore it. I am the 4th owner, but only one owner has actually used the truck. I have too many projects and need to sell it-so says the wife. It was purchased new as a soft top truck and has never had a hard top. The bows look original, but the top is a replacement. You can see from the pictures (check out the website listed above) that this vehicle has nothing but very minor surface rust. There is NOT ONE PLACE on the vehicle where the rust has even begun to eat through the sheet metal. All sheet metal is original and in great condition. The brown that you see on cargo deck in back is not rust, that is adhesive from the original owner installing carpet. It has the original wheels. There are four factory hubcaps, two on the wheels on the truck, one on the spare on the back and one extra hub cap. It does not have the front hub caps. The body is clean and straight, tail gate and floors are great also, even the tool box under the front seat looks good. The original column shifter is tight as are the tumblers in the ignition. The 4x4, high/low works as does pretty much everything else. The seats function well. The hinges all work well. Spare tire carrier and rear tailgate all work well. Due to the age of the tires, they will need to be replaced. The big straight 6 starts instantly, idles quiet, runs cool, great power, steers very tight, shifts perfect, tracks down the road great. You can see a lot of that in videos on the Shutterfly site https://1967fj40.shutterfly.com . Everything is very correct under the hood, factory oil bath air cleaner, Aisan carb with glass float bowl. The alternator and starter look original and work very well. I just had the original starter rebuilt. There is not a single dent on the skid plate. This truck has been babied. You can see in the video on the Shutterfly site that all the gauges work as well. Because it had sat so long, I flushed and changed the engine oil, flushed and changed the radiator fluid, emptied and cleaned the gas tank and all fuel lines. Flushed the brake system. I had to replace the brake master cylinder and clutch master/slave cylinders. They were replaced with an OEM Toyota parts. I still have the original parts. According to my research Toyota imported only 2700 FJ40s in 1967, that does not break down how many of those rigs were factory soft top models, making this very rare. This is the perfect vehicle for a collector to clean up and finish it as a survivor or to restore. You will not find a more original 1967 Land Cruiser with better bones than this truck. It is absolutely amazing. Just look at the pictures. It is a time capsule. Don’t forget to look at all the pictures and video at https://1967fj40.shutterfly.com
