The F100 was a gift to my husband, bought from a collector in CA in in Spring of 2014. We love 'Ruby' but the hobby has to be put on hold with baby #3 on the way. She is running, drivable, and comes with power steering, 'A/C' (circulates cabin air as you'd expect from old trucks), radio, hydraulic full lift hood. The tires are in good shape. We've had to reinforce the hose on the power steering to accommodate the after market upgrade from previous owner. We've gotten many questions about the engine and here is the information we have gathered....The engine is a Ford Fairlane. Without taking the engine apart the best they could say is a 302 standard block. Etched into the glass on the driver's side it says Lark. Next to that also etched in glass it says 1985-86, rebuilt engine, 1956 Ford-256cc. (hope that helps the car folks out there)She has a new starter. We are giving the pine wood kit and the brake set we have for the back brakes to the buyer(the front brakes have already been replaced). The work was all done by local mechanics. When I bought the gift I had it evaluated and made road ready for him. The paint needs to be redone or sealed, but there is very minimal rusting. The driver door turn latch has fallen off, we have the spindle part but will need to be replaced.
