This car had a frame off rebuild in 2010, frame and body were stripped to bare metal, new steel and sheet metal were welded in where needed. Roll bar hoop and support tubes installed. Body was primed with 2-part epoxy primer and repainted. Inteletronix digital gauges have replaced all stock Smiths oil, fuel, water speedometer and tachometer gauges. Air/fFuel ratio gauge installed in center console, along with custom choke lever and horn button. Rear valence has been modified and now houses glass turn, reverse and stop/tail lenses instead of the stock plastic lenses. Front grill is custom stainless steel mesh, LED front turn signals. Drive shaft has been professionally shortened and balanced for Mercury Merkur Heavy Duty 5-speed gearbox. New Falken Sincera tires mounted two months ago. Wheels are Carol Shelby Viper wheels. All new suspension bushings and hardware installed, along with non-adjustable spax front and GAZ adjustable rear shocks. Uprated lower front springs. New rotoflex couplings installed with the rebuild. The car currently has 6300 miles on it since engine rebuild when new small end conrod bushings were replaced and pistons were balanced. She easily cruises at highway speeds between 60 and 75 mph with no trouble or vibration. I love this car, but need to move on to other projects.
