1985 Westfalia Camper Van. Rust free California car. Mileage just turned 122k. less than 7,500 miles on a COMPLETELY REBUILT engine. The rebuild cost was over $5,000.00 and i have the receipts to prove the workmanship. Automatic transmission shifts smooth. This van has been maintained by the areas best VW mechanics. Mahoney Motors in Modesto, CA has over 30+ yrs specializing in air cooled and modern VW's. He doesnt work on anything but Volkswagen. This Westfalia is low miles with nice interior. Recently replaced pop top tent and seal are in perfect condition. It has newer tires, fuel lines, alternator, brand new battery with theft cut off, remote alarm, rockford fosgate rear speakers, 6 disc Kenwood changer w/kenwood deck. Sink, fridge, and stove all work. Heater with both front and rear blowers work great. Sliding door bearings very smooth. This vans needs nothing. Being 30 yrs old there are some normal blemishes. Some oxidation in the clear coat, mostly on the rear hatch, rims. Overall paint is fine, brown with cool pin striping. There is a small hole in the driver seat, a dent in the rear passenger side fender area just behind the slider. Usual rock chips. Rear interior light cover is missing. Overall this camper van is way above average for the year. This is a no reserve auction. You MUST have positive feedback to bid.
