Chevrolet 1927 Capital Landau Sedan - 4 Door - Model AA - Trailer Find! Car has been in a trailer, stored for many years, see photo. Low Miles Original Tool Kit. Car looks all original, see photos of underneath. Very solid. and no rust! We drained fluids and did some minor work and she fired right up. Does have brakes. We did clean this car thoroughly ; appears to be all original and 100 %.Includes original floor mat plus original Chevrolet rubber mats, and four logoed aluminum step plates. ____________________________________________________________________1927 was the first production year of Chevrolet Series AA Capitol: this was the car that helped Chevy unseat Ford atop the U.S. sales charts; it was the best selling car in America in 1927.Production:Chevy retired the Superior model line and replaced it with the Capitol. Eight body styles made up the new Capitol roster. Billed as "The Most Beautiful Chevrolet Ever," the Capitol series featured a new radiator shell, fully crowned fenders, and bullet-style headlights. All engines now had oil and air filters. Despite its name, the Capitol sport cabriolet was not a true convertible. Instead, it had a non-folding soft top on a solid frame, plus a back curtain that could be opened up to permit conversation between the driver and occupants of the rumble seat -- itself a new feature for Chevrolets. The Landau sedan also flaunted a convertible look, with fully covered top and closed-in rear quarters. Landaus and cabriolets got a split folding windshield. At $695, a regular sedan cost $50 less than a Landau, and the equally priced coach was the most popular model sold in America. Has a clean PA title.
