Dear Ebayer: This car has "sold" several times to previous buyers, however, all asked me to finance the purchase of the car and I am not in a position to do that. Please, only bid, if you are able to pay for the car in full. Also please note: This is not a show car. This is a super every day driver with so many newer parts that I wouldn't know where to begin. The paint is not perfect and the few faults that are present, are so small that you can barely see them. Further, this car needs a back seat which could be purchased from Oldbug.com and it would finish the car off beautifully. I looked for a long time to find this type of car, with this updated equipment and with such great mechanical condition. It is difficult to find this type of car with 4 wheel disk brakes. The title reads that this is a 1958 Volkswagen body type Beatle. This car has been refurbished. It is one of the nicest cars in the Midwest. You can see from the pictures that there are mostly newer parts on the front end, all new bearings and bushings, new tie rods, new brake lines, a new clutch, and a professional rebuilt 1600 motor. It has a VW bus rear end, a bus trans, newer tires, newer front and rear lights, newer rear mirrors, newer glass and newer trim. It was painted with black cherry metal flake paint and there is a lot of chrome on the motor. It has all new nuts and bolts. It runs and drives great.
