Vehicle Detail

Please read this carefully-I have 100% Feedback and want to keep it that way!! For sale, NO RESERVE, 1 very nice 1966 Mustang. Just restored less than a year ago. I have all the receipts. This Mustang was a Barn Find last year from the California Southern Desert. The is a California car, made in San Jose and has never left the State of California. Engine is the original 289 C  Code V-8. Came with a 2 Barrel Carb that I still have in my possession, along with the original 2 Barrel cast-iron intake that goes with car upon sale but has been replaced by a correct date-coded  A Code 4 Barrel Cast Iron intake and correct 1965 dated Autolite 4100 Carburetor for a small-block ford. The only other non-original drive train parts under the hood are the Pertronix kit and I replaced a missing A/C Compressor with a modern A/C Compressor from Classic Air. The car was equipped with Factory A/C.  Where do I start? This car is really nice, runs great, and has the following: Factory Power Steering that was rebuilt along with new hoses. I added Power front Disc Brakes so the car could be safely driven. Factory A/C-the original Condenser was cleaned out and the Evaporator was replaced with a larger unit from Classic Air to increase the cooling capacity. You cannot see this upgrade, its deep inside the O.E. under-dash mounted A/C that was also in a kit. Rebuilt motor [before I bought the car] but I didn't like the heads, so I replaced them with correct newly rebuilt correct date-coded 1966 heads with H.D. valve springs. The old heads go with the sale.  All re-chromed OE parts with the exception of the 289 badges on the fenders. All the aluminum and stainless Steel was polished. The seats are original; I just had a couple of seams that had mildly split, repaired. Brand new modern Radio from Classic Auto Sound with iPhone hookup. 2 added rear speakers in the Package Tray area. Completely newly painted interior with Acrylic Enamel. Brand new Carpet kit. Exterior was painted a year ago in Code F, Arcadian Blue, the OE Color. The paint is base/clear, really shiny and just to be 100% honest, has a handful of bubbles in the Left front door [I'm so pissed!!] that you could have fixed or just leave them alone. There are some stone chips that I've touched up. Original Quarter Panels for sure. Original floor pans too. New Heater core/box/rebuilt heater fan. New defroster hoses that actually work. Brand new windshield. New Headliner and Sun Visors in dark blue. New matching blue Dash Pad. All new weatherstripping throughout, even deep inside the doors!! New Fuel tank and sending unit. New shocks throughout. Just put front perches and upper control arms on 90 days ago. Even after the new heads were put on, since the temperature gauge stays 1/2 way between C and H, even after the car warms up, So I put in a brand new water pump/thermostat, hoses, a Flex Fan, a Trans cooler and thermostatically controlled Hayden electric fan. I modified the hood latch so the car's hood cannot be opened without a special fabricated tool that goes with car to make room for the Hayden Fan. The cooling system was just pressure tested and held 13 psi. Compression Readings are normal as well as Vacuum Readings at idle.  There is also a brand new 3 row Radiator too!! Believe it or not, the car has a rebuilt C4 transmission, with receipts, that has less than 50 miles on it!!  The repaint is not a $20k repaint, but a nice quality 4k paint job. The car was painted with all the windows and chrome removed, so all the gaskets have no overspray on them. The paint is super shiny and just freshly detailed.  I have the O.E Hubcaps, but look how nice the Ford Wheels are now, along with brand new radial tires. Also has a brand new Stainless Steel dual exhaust system with a very low and respectable growl. $1,000 deposit due at end of Auction and full payment within 48 hours. I will gladly load it on a transport for you. This Mustang comes with a Car Cover and Club too for the steering Wheel. Finally, there are many spare parts that go with the sale of course and a kill switch to prevent this Mustang from being stolen. Clear Title. Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!
