Vehicle Detail
2004 JAGUAR X-TYPE 3.0 AWD LISTED WITH NO RESERVE!!!I've owned this car since April, 2007 and 32k miles. It has mostly highway miles to and from work as well as a few road trips. Always a joy to drive, very comfortable, goes great in the snow, and I have occasionally received compliments on how beautiful the car is. Always kept clean/detailed and up to date on oil changes, etc. The car received a brand new transmission last year when the clutch gave out between 4th and 5th gear in the automatic transmission. It would shift through all the gears, but would not go into 5th. During this time it also received many additional parts. Including:Brand new transmissionOnly Jaguar transmission fluid was used $35qtRear engine/trans mountFront CV shaftsNew front hubs and wheel bearingsSpark PlugsAir FilterWater PumpSerpentine Belt (Goodyear Gatorback)Rear Main SealIntake Manifold gasketsNew batteryAnd I'm sure a few other little things I cannot think of. Brake rotors and ceramic pads have maybe 5k miles on them.Continental Sport Tires are not new but have some life leftSpare and jack still in the trunk Known issues:Crack in windshield from a rock coming up on the highway.Previous owner scraped the rear quarter panel coming out of the garage. The body repair was sub par. I didn't notice it until the last couple years of ownership, the clear coat started to peel and small bubbling in the area that was repaired. The drive-train and engine lights are still on after transmission replacement, shop said dealer would have to turn them off. I never got around to do it.Car can be started but I was told the starting relay will need replaced. During the transmission replacement I purchased another vehicle and this one became a second car. It has been driven a small handful of times since, and has been stored in my garage for the past year without being driven. I love this car and love how it drives and it's looks, but just haven't had the time to give it the attention it needs anymore. I'd rather sell it to someone who will enjoy it more. The car will start and currently runs and drives. All pictures were taken this morning (12/27) and with the car running. However, I would recommend fixing everything and maybe putting in newer gas before driving it daily. As you can see from the pictures the engine bay, interior, and outside of the car are all pretty clean and in pretty good shape other than the issues mentioned. I have sold a couple cars on here in the past with no trouble and I have great feedback. The car comes with no warranty, and has been described as best as it could. If you have any questions please feel free to ask prior to bidding. I will answer anything I can. Also, it is buyers responsibility to arrange and schedule shipping and it's not covered under the auction price. I will be happy to help anyway I can as the seller. Thank you for looking and happy bidding!!! Highest bidder takes this Jaguar home!!! On Dec-29-15 at 13:44:30 PST, seller added the following information: *Update!!!A fellow ebayer asked me what codes were found with the engine light on. A code reader indicated codes P1000 and C1145. I was told P1000 means the computer is still in a testing cycle. And the C1145 code indicated a disruption in communication from one of the front wheel sensors, which probably explains why the ABS light is also on. My guess is the Red drive-train light is the one that will have to be turned off by the dealer. Trying to be an honest upfront seller, if anyone has any questions, please ask. Thanks.
