We don't hide anything and we have years of satisfied clients as you can see in our feedback. This is not an average restoration or build, it is a high quality, high end pro-touring road ready Mustang Mach 1 S-Code. The quality of this build can be seen up close and appreciated and we show that in our pictures, details and disclosure so you can feel confident in making an offer that can buy this car. If you want this car like I did when I saw it, then make it rain $100s and watch how excited I get to see you win and own this car. That is what I am about. People ask me all the time, "have you ever wanted to keep one?" Of course I have, like this one, but I love selling dreams and seeing people reach them. I get them, drive them, show them, meet great new friends with them and get to have all the beautiful models pose with them for a permanent record of my fabulous collection of thousands of cars over the last 13 years. You get to do the same if you want...or just sit there and wait until someone else calls me and makes an offer that buys your dream. Nah! Pick up the phone to make your deal with me, you won't get figures any other way unless you bid and hit the reserve. Good Luck and talk to you soon. If you want to make a deal, pick up the phone and talk your serious offer. 702-353-7500 Before you send me that awful question, "what's your reserve or bottom line", let's take a moment to explain market values and how to get a deal on eBay. There isn't any "Book Value" from the Kelly Blue Book or NADA Guide on a car like this. Figures both selling and buying for cars like this are subjective in nature and the only number that counts, if you are the seller, is the one from a serious buyer that makes you an offer. Over 28 years in the business, dealers like myself, buy and sell by looking at what it must have taken to build a car like this and take a rough guess as to what someone might buy it for. Do I have an asking price, sure if you want to hear me shoot at the moon, but that number will have nothing to do with what you may offer whether that's higher or lower. That is why we sell exclusively on eBay and at other reputable auctions. The numbers or offers come from the buyers that are serious and just like me, make their own minds up as to what they are willing to spend. We are here to sell cars. With thirteen years exclusively on eBay and perfect feedback, it's obvious we do. How? Well, that's easy too. Real buyers with serious offers in mind call us. They almost always want to talk to the person in charge; that's me. I want to talk to you too and help you own this awesome vehicle. It keeps me in business. So, if you want a fantastic vehicle like you see here, one that is far above the average in condition, serviced and documented like this, simply call. Asking through email for my bottom line? Well, I just think you're not too serious or willing to make an offer; makes it a waste of my time and yours. If you just want to know what the market value is, do what we do, look at Kelly Blue Book and NADA Guide and other online sources. Does that mean we always hope to get exactly book value, above or below? That's a loaded question. Depends on the rarity, miles and condition. Most important though, since you "are" a serious and capable buyer, call me and let's talk. I don't wear a Plaid Coat, I don't talk really fast and I am the guy in charge, the owner, enthusiast and purveyor of some of the finest cars on the internet...not to mention the best thorough presentations. Let's make a deal...Call me Doug 702-353-7500 This 1969 Fastback is a Mach 1 390ci Big Block with a 4 Speed manual transmission and while all Mach 1s look fast (even at rest) a 390 Mustang walks the walk carrying a very big stick. The Mach 1 was a sales hit from day one, selling over 72,000 copies, most leaving the factory with a 351. This spectacular Silver Jade rocket rolled off the San Jose assembly line November 12, 1968 and is one of just 3,891 Mustangs (all models) equipped with the 390ci HiPo Engine and 4 speed transmission. Original Silver Jade, the black-out hood, stripes and shiny paint look stunning on a beautiful body with all exterior bright work absolutely dazzling Of course, the high performance 390 means instant street cred and, otherworldly acceleration. This bad boy gets it on old-school style with massive low-end torque and the manual Hurst four speed shift means you have to go light on the throttle to avoid wheel-spin in every gear. Unprovoked, the dead-reliable 390 is a pleasure to live with as an every day driver and a car in this condition is easy to enjoy . . . . . . once you turn the key however, it is difficult to disguise the threatening tone of an engine this large. If you've never felt this kind of performance, it's a thrilling experience and something that stays with you. The explosive thrust of this Mach 1 will quite literally redefine your expectation of what a high performance muscle car should be. All glass is great, although the front windshield (original) could use replacing ($300), the chrome looks great and the Magnum 500 wheels are sensational. No matter how many times you walk around this unbelievable Mach 1 or how close you look, you'll never get tired of the racy SportsRoof styling and this particular car's knock-out condition, from top to bottom. Also; it's completely normal if your eye keeps returning to the 390 badge on the hood scoop. It's real and it's real fast. 1969 and 1970 Mach 1s are often viewed as one in the same but most people agree, the '69 retains more of the original pony car's clean lines and mean face. Although overall length was up a few inches, the 1969 Mustang rode on the same 108 inch wheelbase. A 390 Mach 1 provides intermediate "muscle car" muscle in a trim Mustang package, and this Mach 1 is going to pay back its investment for the rest of its life. As hip as a Mach 1 was, things like power steering and power front disc brakes were still optional in 1969 and were factory installed on this car so, it takes less muscle to pilot this muscle car. The side scoop was a fastback-only item and the chin spoiler, rear wing and window slats look awesome in this profile shot. This rare Mach 1 came from a dry western collection and is rust free and retains all of it's original panels. Since restoration, it was stored indoors and driven regularly but infrequently. It's not just a driver quality looker, but a quality driving gem and a legend among vintage Detroit muscle. There will be lots of stares and a lot of happy miles behind the wheel of this eye-popping Mustang. It is simply, what every Mach 1 should be; a thundering performance machine that does what its looks suggest it can do. The paint is an older paint finish but being indoors for years, it's still shines like new. A few areas have been touched up but they do not detract from the overall fantastic finish of the car from top to bottom. All the rubber seals were just replaced, side windows removed and new window felts and seals put in. The originals seals around the doors and windows were old and hard so we replaced them. We also refinished the undercarriage and made it a real show stopper. New bumper in the rear and new front end bushing on the entire front suspension. Reflective tape stripe, pop-open gas cap and dual exhaust were Mach 1 exclusives and they make this pony's posterior pretty dang hot. Did you know that the 1969 Mustang was the first to use body color racing mirrors of this type? To repeat; this is a 390 Big Block Mach 1. Big block Mustangs are very rare and intensely desired. NADA adds 25% to any Mustang with a 390 engine and the status of these incredible cars has long been an accepted fact. A Mach 1 Mustang never lets you forget that you are behind the wheel of something very special, something few people ever experience. Such is life at the top - life with a 390 Big Block Mach 1. Mach 1s came standard with the Deluxe Interior Group including a full console, special high-back bucket seats, pedal trim and extra insulation. This car also has the gauge package, (with tachometer) air conditioning and, if you live where we do (southern Nevada) I don't need to tell you how important a working air conditioner is. Upholstery, carpet and door panels are all in great condition and the rear seat folds flat with a pass-through panel to the trunk. 390 HiPo 320 horsepower @ 5,200/427 ft-lb torque @ 3,400 RPM (stock, underrated - also, clean, dry and beautiful) Clean. Dry. Awesome. Ford's legendary 9-inch rear-end is the only thing strong enough to withstand 500 ft-lbs of (otherwise) pinion-snapping torque. I am a “used car dealer” but before that, I’m an automobile enthusiast. I love original rare and high quality modified vintage cars and over the past decade I’ve been in business, have come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, high value vehicles. I specialize in and am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners. I have an experienced eye for quality but I’ve discovered that my preferred buyer can instantly discern such a vehicle and I have therefore, built my business and reputation around finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer. Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict requirements but a car must do something for me on a personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, the bidder, that this is an above average, exceptional vehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, it probably won’t do much for you either and I would soon be out of business. With just seven family and alike employees and no sales people, I realize how unusual a “dealership” like mine may at first glance appear. It has taken great care and effort to create such an organization and often, an unusually high investment in a particular car we are about to list. To sell the best it is critical to have a trusted experts in my corner. Alex Hoxsey our seasoned mechanic of 43 years, has my back. He and his crew can fix anything; from a low budget beater to the absolute most expensive exotic you can name, no job is too big and no small detail unimportant. Having worked years with Ford and GM dealers in Southern California was one of the dealers he worked for years ago and the list of Fords from Pintos to Shelby's have not missed his wrench. Exotics at Hollywood Sports Cars & Ferraris didn't miss wrench time with him either. The most exciting thing you can have as a dealer is a seasoned professional mechanic that loves his craft and takes extensive lengths to make anything he does right. They do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and nothing escapes their methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly “right” will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy customer that says good things about me. Moreover; it allows me, the owner and writer to describe the car with ease and confidence, something that simply is not possible unless I trust my advisors. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction. After the vehicle is fully sorted it encounters the detailed eyes of our shop team. They intern detail our cars until they are near factory production line roll-off condition. We try not to miss an inch anywhere, but perfection is tough so there might be a piece of lint here and there. Next, I comb over every inch, research its history and document originality and authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special features, possible modifications and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 150 high resolution pictures that my professional photographer son Skylar takes and at times I take some of these photos too. The pricey equipment we use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers in the world and I’ve developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. We provide detailed views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they so meticulously clean. This reconditioning can sometimes take several days and I’ve converted a paint booth, especially prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each car lovingly receives. Usually, I’ll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it’s a fast car, we film it going fast. If it’s a 4x4 you’ll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch the temperature fall on a digital, laser thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent. How many “dealers” will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? We do. No “dealer,” on-line or in the real world, takes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, the buyer, with so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or feel their purchase, that my vehicle is for real and what I say is the truth. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on eBay. To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought it. If you have any questions at all, please call me on my cell at: 702-353-7500. If your inquiry is sincere and your offer serious, you’ll find me the most accommodating business partner you’ve ever dealt with. If you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or “what is my bottom line” I will be looking for ways to politely end the conversation. Until you are ready to actually pull the trigger, I will happily quote you the absolute highest nationally advertised suggested retail price I can find – a number we both know will not buy the car so, don’t waste your time, or mine. I am after all, a “used car dealer.” Serious buyers know the maximum they can offer. I then must simply decide if I can sell for that number. If you hit the reserve, the decision is no longer mine. I must sell at that number. OFFERS GET MY ATTENTION: 702-353-7500 or Doug@vivalasvegasautos.com If you want to make a deal, pick up the phone and talk a serious offer. 702-353-7500 I don't respond to emails asking for "bottom line, sale price, reserve, or Buy-it-Now" figures on top line cars. THE ONLY WAY YOU GET THOSE FIGURES IS TO CALL ME! The book values posted below are relevant to "real" selling figures. NADA & KBB wouldn't be in business if they posted nonsense. But they only account for averages around the nation. If this car is less than or better than average, bid or offer accordingly.
