2005 Ford Freestar Van - This van was purchased new by Wabasha County. It was purchased for the Social Services Department and was last used as a transport van for the Wabasha County Sheriff's Office. The van was being driven until it was decided to be sold at auction. As you know, county vehicles do get maintained on a regular basis. For having over 217k miles, the body is pretty good condition with the exception of some rust forming on the passenger rear tire well. It was lot driven. It started right up, drove decent and stopped well. A new transmission was installed in June of 2010. In July 2013, the brakes were replaced and new tires were installed. It is a little loud when idling, can guess it would be an exhaust issue. The interior is in fair condition. There are stains on the floor and seating. There are also holes in many of the plastic panels from installed equipment. The tires are in fair conditions, probably will need replacement in the near future. Take a look at the pictures.
