Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1927 Ford Coupe Street Rod, I am in the finishing stage on this car. The car has been drove around my block twice and that is all. The Ford has a SBC backed up to a 700R4. The rear axle is a 91 S10, all new built chassis by a local engineer that builds frames, Lucky & front axle with late model GM calipers, Dietz style headlight with half moon turn signals in the lamp, lots of chrome pieces on the engine and a chrome single wire alternator. The interior is all new with a Lokar shifter, finned sand cast gauge cluster with new gauges, detachable steering wheel column, overhead console with CD player that is still in the box that needs installed. (has been pre-wired). Its got a 10 gallon fuel tank with sending unit, battery and box in the trunk. I was going to build the tank under the rails but didn't have enough room. Maybe you can figure that out and have more trunk space. The body was a mere shell when I got it from Illinois. So had to hunt down the garnishes, dash, windshield frame and from Howells Sheet metal I replace the firewall left cowl section, both rear inner fender wells and the panel below the deck lid and rolled the pan. This car has most of the items you would find on a street rod. Its almost done, I will do more as this auction rolls on. Another surgery scheduled soon is what is the main reason for selling the rod. Sine I was wounded in Combat I have had four so far. So keep in mind minor things need to be done by my standards. I have built other street rods and so has my Dad, I guess it's a family thing. Below is a run down of what I know is needed and I have everything to finish this car. You just need a weekend and have some fun with a new street rod. One thing I need to add is that Alabama does not have titles on cars older than 1975. We will get a notarized bill of sale and affiliated of VIN to take back to your state to be issues a new title. What is to be finished is I need to adjust the power windows some, install the door panels, install the windshield, with gasket and chrome swing out arms, the timing needs adjusted, the carb may need some attention too, also need a bracket for the kick down cable that attaches to the Holley 4160 carb. Other than that some minor this and that's. There was some light damage that was done on the panel below the deck lid. That has been fixed but needs to have the paint blended about nine inches from the bottom up. There are about three chips in the paint and maybe a scratch or two. Besides the few little things that needs to be done you will have a really cool street rod. I am 100% disabled Army Veteran that has been working on the rod for over three years, along with the help of other street rod vets that live local to me. The reserve is rather low, not looking to make it rich of this sell, I am looking to sell it. I will add all it takes is to call me and talk to me on the phone since that is a lot easier than replying through messaging. I would like this to be more of a personal auction. I will not be asking for a deposit, just in person. What the auction price ends for is going to be the sale price. This rod will be sold as is where is. We just have to be honest with one another and I will answer any and all questions that you may have. I will also allow an agreeable amount of time to come get the car. It will have to be put on a trailer. Again all it takes is a phone call and we will go from there. I tried to explain as much as I could pertaining to this car and my requests. Please call me at 3347336252, this is my cell phone you can pretty much call me anytime. Thank you for looking and considering. Ron. On Dec-06-15 at 12:52:15 PST, seller added the following information: The first listing got so close to reaching the reserve after I lowered again. I encourage bidders to contact me. I wanted to list this car as a buy it now or best offer. This would seem to be the best way to get bidders a realistic idea of owning this street rod. I am at a huge lose on this rod. Please call me and we can contract a buy it now price or place an offer on the car. Like I said the highest bidder Saturday almost owned this rod. I have installed the new tinted windshield. You can reach me anytime at the number listed, thank you for your interest and consideration.Ron On Dec-08-15 at 09:31:58 PST, seller added the following information: Today, I uncovered the Coupe and the motor started right up. Prior to the end of this auction I will have the power windows adjusted and the door panels installed. The dauphin window kits are fairly simple to install in these kind of cars that have a narrow door width. The doors have the correct window channels and top seals installed. The carpet is installed along with the Lokar shifter boot. I do have a set of 34 Ford scuff panels I have for the car to give it a cleaner look on the floor. If you have any other concerns or questions just let me know.
