Being offered is a 1980 Honda CR250, Moto-X-Fox Racer. No expense was spared in the building of this bike, it is like new with only 3 heat cycles on the engine. The engine has all new OEM honda bearings, seals and gaskets, new steel and fiber clutch plates, The cylinder has been sleeved and ported by Kustom Kraft and fitted with a new Wiseco piston, rings, bearing, pin and clips in a fresh new bore. The carb is a rebuilt and jetted Keihin, new reeds are added also It has a new Jemco prototype tapered headpipe pipe with a nickel plated repackable jemco silencer. It has Full Circle rims, New buchanon heavy guage stainless spokes and nipples, new tubes and locks, all new wheel bearings, seals and brake shoes, wrapped in new rubber. The front forks and trees are rust free original Fox- Factory 44mm, rebuilt by Thor, they have fresh seals, oil and new wipers. The frame is solid, it has no repairs, rust, rewelds, crushed or damaged tubes, it has been powdercoated with RAL3020 in gloss red. The swingarm is a ORIGINAL 2" over Fox Factory ( very hard to find) in mint condition with new bearings and chain buffer. A adjustable brake arm has been fitted The rear shocks are 17 3/4" Fox airs, completely rebuilt by Thor also, they are in mint shape with no rash or damage, The chain rollers and sliders are new throughout, it has a new sprockets, 13t steel counter shaft and a 49t alloy Sprocket Specialties rear and a new black chain. New wide pegs, the kicker is like new with no slop, and a mint alloy shift lever. The plastics are all new throughout, they are from VMX racing and very high quality, it has a new Fox seat cover fitted over new seat foam also from VMX racing, the tank is a Oem 79 CR125 alloy unit that has been restored ( painted and clear coated with PPG paint) and is in perfect condition with a new alloy billet gas cap, It has new Vortex vintage bend bars , all the cables a NOS honda, it has period correct unbreakable shorty levers, new Pro taper grips, Magura throttle and a new kill button. all bolts are new and stainless with stainless locknuts throughout. All axles and other hardware have been zinc plated back to original. Inside the uncracked air box is a new UNI Air filter its also fitted with a alloy reinforcement ring to prevent any cracking in the future. A custom machined alloy shock guard is installed to prevent any shock damage from the chain. It also has a new custom made snap on old school Moto-x-Fox bar pad. All new Fox decals have been applied throughout. This is a very rare and desirable bike and should be in a collection or museum. This bike runs and handles great, weight has been shaved off the bike wherever possible and it feels very nimble. It is very tight and feels like new.
