Vehicle Detail

No Reserve Last year I purchased “Ted”, my 1984 Jeep Scrambler, CJ8, 4x4, what a great Jeep! I spent the majority of my life around classics as my father has many vehicles that he takes to shows. Our goal was to restore Ted to his glory and go to some local shows with my Dad. Life changes – and thru a lot of perseverance, we acquired a parcel of land that has a lot of meaning to me, and will be building a home. That being said, Ted needs to find that home that can enjoy him. Take him off roading. Take him to Classic Car Shows and turn some heads. We always do – most people have never seen a Scrambler. Just have fun. Please see & hear it run …… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6C_5ziBVMc Engine running https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ew6ud6TC5o •Roughly 10 years ago, Ted had a complete frame off restoration. Have all photos of the restoration project•Diamond plating added at time of restoration.•Paint “Sun Set Orange” - beautiful•Superide 4” lift added 2003•33x9.50 R15LT tires – lots of life left.•Scrambler hard top, hard doors•In 2013, transmission & engine rebuilt, less than 10,000 miles on rebuild•In 2015, steering stabilizer added•6 Cylinder, 131K•Manual – 5 speed, please don’t laugh about the block of wood on the clutch – I’m as short as a hobbit.•Locking storage in bed for tools or whatever.•After market radio, don’t even know if it works.•All gauges, lights and wipers work.•Starts, runs and drives down the road like it should•Engine runs nice, manual transmission shifts smooth.•Clutch is good.•Brakes nicely.•Ted comes with a boat load of extra parts that we acquired from the previous owner, that were not used in the restoration. •Clean TitleThe Bad •Ted does have some rust that might need attention should you choose, common areas of a jeep, around windshield frame, around the wheel wells, side of front fenders, bottom edge of the front grill, rust on door and windshield hinges•Frame has normal rust, but appears to have no rust thru.•One of the body mounts does have rust thru•Ted sometimes has a “shake” around 55 mph depending on road – however, we never drove Ted on the interstate, rather enjoying the quieter country roads.•There is rust thru hole behind the passenger seat•Emergency brake not hooked up.Please see pictures, we will try to show these areas the best we can. On Nov-23-15 at 19:45:51 PST, seller added the following information: I've searched thru my garage! The extra parts are NOT needed for the Scrambler, but I don't need them laying around. I rec'd them from the prior owner. So keep them for extra parts or for another project. Partial list, alternator, lots of tail and head lights, wiring harnesses, half doors, door glass, drive shaft, knobs and parts, center caps, starter, battery case, gauges, plus more.......
