Datsun was patched up to clean up the rust spots and painted in 2005-2006 (cannot remember which year we had this done?). Most of the upper body seems to be okay.Has not been driven much since 2007. Stored inside for the past 5 years. Showing signs of age with the paint starting to bubble on the front edge of the hood, and mainly near the back wheel well areas. Some bubbling and rust near the bottom edges of the drivers door. It also has a very small chip in the bottom of the windshield that has been epoxy filled but is still barely noticeable and is not in the drivers or passengers view or we would have replaced it. Just didn't seem necessary. Areas or rust both on the body and frame. An excellent, solid running car and a great hobby to toy around with for a Datsun enthusiast or even a restore. It was originally a 5 speed but now has a 4 speed in it which works just fine.Tires are about 50%Cruise control, AC, and even rear wiper and washer work.Power antenna doesn't come down all the way, because of a recent power car wash, but it was rewired so a generic power antenna can be installed which is what is in there now. It stays up about 5 or 6 inches. Interesting and unique: The engine has this cool little light that toggles on and off to view the engine - interesting to say the least. The car talks to you (reminds you that the lights are on and maybe door ajar? Cannot recall all of the things she says..... Other things that come with it are: Original shades and storage bags for the T-tops Car cover - genericOne extra Hatchback shock, Extra carpet (new) for the trunk)Nice stereo,CD player. Come get in this car and drive it home. It runs great. It's 33 years old and was never intended to be a show quality car for us, just a toy that is fun to drive. Everything works with no known mechanical issues and just a solid, dependable, ride. We dropped the price quite a bit as we lost our recent winter storage spot and don't want to have to find another before winter.
