1989 Honda GB500 TT Tourist Trophy A beautiful unrestored and unmolested example of Honda's first retro classic Cafe Racer. The GB500 was only imported into the US for 2 years; 89 and 90. This one is 100% original, I've had this GB for about 15 years. I ride it a couple of times a year on longer day rides with the small bike group or on local classic bike rides. When it's not being ridden it is on display inside my house. This bike has been pampered most of it's life but has also been ridden so everything is in great working order. It starts, runs, rides, and works like it should, even the sidestand light works! There are a few spots under the clear coat on the lower forks and some of the aluminum parts but I would not fix these because of the bike's originality. An interesting note is that all of these bike were painted in a very very dark metallic green, most people think they are black but in certain light you can see the green tint. I love the styling of the GB, it was designed to resemble the big 500cc single racers of the 50's and 60's like Norton's Manx, AJS 7R, or the G50 Matchless. It's a beautiful fun bike to ride with classic styling and Honda reliability. I do have the original mirrors and bar end weights and they will be included in the sale, the front stand in the photographs is NOT included. A $250 deposit is required via paypal within 2 days of the auction end, and the balance is due within 7 days. Payment of balance is by wire transfer, money order, certified funds or by cash in person. Bike will be released only after the funds have cleared my bank. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but I will make every effort to accommodate your shipper. Unless otherwise agreed upon, the vehicle must be shipped or picked up within 10 days of the auction's end.
