I’ve owned this 1966 Mustang fastback for about 3 years and the project has stalled, so I am selling. As you can see by the VIN#, this is an original “R”- San Jose California car. Here are more details: Very solid and straight as you can see be the pictures. Original Fastback, not a clone or conversion. The roof skin has been replaced (this is NOT a coupe to fastback conversion, only the skin was replaced) The floor pan (1-piece) has been professionally replaced and looks great. The engine compartment, including aprons and shock towers, are all original. The frame rails and rockers are original and solid. The trunk floors and wheels wells are original and solid. The rear quarter panels are original with some small, professional patches (maybe 3x6”) The solid doors and fenders are OEM Ford panels, but I cannot verify if they are original to the car. The trunk lid and hood are also OEM Ford panels, and rust free. I Have all of the glass- front, rear, side, and vent glass. Includes complete rear fastback items (upper and lower seat cushions, upper and lower fiberglass interior pieces, quarter vents, complete fold-down, trap door w/speaker holes- all there) Includes front seats for cores Includes non-original 1966 289 C-code motor for rebuilding. Includes 3-speed manual transmission, shifter, bell housing. 8” open rear. 14” 5 lug Ford steel wheels. As you can see by the pictures, this car is very straight with good lines and gaps. No rust repair is needed. Finish this car any way you want- original, Shelby clone, Restomod. Good, matching Wisconsin Title in my name. Rules:Payment in full required within 5 days!
