GOOD: New (rebuilt original) German Carburetor (rebuilt by Volkzbitz) All new fuel lines New fuel filters New brake lines New cd player New throttle cable New gas/brake pedal assembly New battery New timing belt New spark plugs New spark plug wires New window regulators -(one of these has not yet been installed but will be included with the car). BAD: No carpet-But floors have been painted (no rust). No heat - Can the heat be fixed? Sure! But honestly, if you are worried about having good heat you probably shouldn't be looking at volkswagens... *VW parts are easily accessible, inexpensive and Beetles are the easiest cars for DIY projects. Engine has been tested at a shop for compression and everything checked out good. We have the paperwork from that test as well as all the receipts for new parts that have been installed. All the lights/turn signals work as they should, the headliner is intact, the backseat has been removed for cargo space but I do still have it. Other than the two passenger windows, all of the other windows have great/newer seals and all the glass is original. Carpet has been removed but floorboards have been painted and look good. The car is 43 years old, so yes it has rust, but nothing that effects the structural integrity. The floorboards are solid and there is no visible rust on the outside of the car. The paint is original but it has been touched up in numerous places both inside and out. Gets lots of attention everywhere we go. This car looks great until you are up close and start looking for flaws. This car is driven and used as a commuter. Shipping is responsibility of the buyer.
