This 3100 series truck runs and drives great. 40,000 miles on rebuilt original block, 235, 6 cyl. Four speed on floor. Less than 1,000 miles on radial tires. Comes with fitted canvas cover. I bought this truck in 1976 when I did an amateur body restoration and had the motor rebuilt. During restoration I replaced the front bumper, tailgate, and driver side front fender, which has a series 3800 insignia (could not find a 3100 fender at the time). Replaced bed floor with diamond plate steel. Have receipts for motor work and replaced body parts. I've not used this truck for commuting, only pleasure and yard work hauling. We've recently moved to a smaller place and now don't have the room to store it so unfortunately I must part with this "family member". Truck body is sound, with only light rust in bed, around doors, cab floor, cab step wells, on cab roof, and in lower rear corners of cab (see photos). No rust areas are major and should be removable with sanding or light grinding. Truck has been in Portland, Or., not close to the coast and winter roads are not salted here so rusting of vehicles is not a major problem in this area.
