1981 DeLorean DMC-12 Certainly one of the world’s most distinctive and recognizable cars. This stainless steel, gray leather interior, 5-speed manual transmission DeLorean has only covered 19,935 miles since new. Runs and drives like a DeLorean should. In the past two years, the car has had considerable maintenance: Complete brake overhaul (new master cylinder, brake lines, calipers, rotors and pads) New shocks New tires Currently, this DeLorean is having a major service to be in top condition for its new owner. Pictures of the engine during its service are provided. The current service includes: New updated steel window motors/regulators Water pump Stainless overflow tank Thermostat Clutch slave cylinder Heater control valve Plugs, rotor, cap and ignition wires Heater/Coolant hoses Belts Fuel filter Oil and filter The seats recovered with original leather covers are in mint condition. Note there are small cracks in dash at the corner of the glove box (see photo), but interior is excellent otherwise. Clean wheels, solid undercarriage, and (importantly for a DeLorean) mint condition fuse box. All lights, gauges, power mirrors, power locks, power windows and stereo are perfect. There are some small dings in passenger side (pictured) that will be removed by paintless dent repair next week (11/12/2015). Fun car that draws attention and smiles everywhere you go.
