Background: This vehicle was asset seized by the Roseville Police Department and ordered by the court to be sold at auction. The vehicle was seized 10-21-14 and has been parked (unused) since that date. At the time of seizure, the vehicle ran strong and had no apparent mechanical defects. As of 11-5-15, the vehicle still runs well (based on how quickly it started, how it sounded, and the fact that it doesn't smoke or leak oil onto the ground). The body has oxidization, scratches, swirls, and damage. The interior is as you would expect from a vehicle of this age and mileage. Condition: This vehicle has scratches, swirls, and minor blemishes in various locations on the body. The headlights are oxidized, the clear coat is peeling in some areas, and the vehicle is dirty inside and out. The interior fabric appears to be leather (or a synthetic similar to leather) and is in varied condition throughout the interior; some areas are very clean where others are heavily worn and soiled. The functionality of the gauges, switches, lights, or any other mechanical or electrical parts will not be guaranteed. The hood strut that keeps the hood lifted is leaking oil and needs to be replaced (the hood will not stay open on its own)This vehicle is AS-IS. The tires hold air. The factory stereo has been replaced with some type of aftermarket unit. The vehicle was previously associated with drug use and sales. Payment: The only method of payment we will accept is cash or cashier's check. The car must be picked up in person. Value: According to Kelley Blue Book, this vehicle is valued at $2,500 (conservatively). After sale: Because this vehicle was seized by the government, the buyer will need to meet officers at the police department, make payment, and we will go to the DMV together to facilitate the title transfer. The buyer will be required to pay applicable sales taxes to DMV. The vehicle has been smoked in and has the associated odor(s).
