Vehicle Detail
This is my son's jeep selling because he needs something that's better on gas for all the driving he does for school and work. The jeep will start and drive down the road but this is work that can be done to improve it there is rust on the floor pans the frame has rust a fair amount and currently has 22 inch tires. Has a 4.2 motor we have replaced the manifold with a 3 piece header from summit, new intake, new starter, flywheel, changed spark plugs, rebuilt carb, New oil pan gasket, New transmission gasket and seal however the person we had fix the transmission gasket and seal didn't do it right because it still leaks took it back a few times no progress. This particular year came stick with an extensive about of vaccuum hose on the motor when we bought the jeep we had major issues with the vacuum system after a ton a research we found a cute a Nutter Bypass and that made it so we could eliminate a great deal of the vacuum. We also have a frame that is in great shape that will go with the jeep to do a full frame transfer the frame is also equipped for a V8 motor. The jeep starts, runs and drives but does need work mostly on the frame and body. Any question please ask... Thank you for bidding On Nov-05-15 at 06:15:44 PST, seller added the following information: I also want to mention that all the gauges do not work I believe they just aren't hooked up. The speedomotor works gas gauge and oil gauge do work fine. The steering wheel does move feels loose the front passenger tire rubber is damaged was drove on when it was flat. Also the hard top hatch to lock the back window does not unlock the window you have to manually do it to lift the hatch. There are little things to fix but it's a great jeep that is tons of fun in the woods especially with the hard top off If your a jeep person you are already aware of the typical jeep issues.
