CAR BEING RELISTED AGAIN DUE TO A FAKE EBAYER! I have owned this car for over 15 years. It has been a fantastic car. I drove it daily until yesterday. The car has had zero major issues until yesterday 10/14/2015. It all of the sudden started sputtering and having a hard time to gain speed and the check engine light came on. I did the onboard test to see what codes came back and the major code was dealing with the EGR Valve, so I ordered a new one. But upon further inspection I noticed the EGR Valve Pressure sensor was melted and it melted the vacuum line to the map sensor as well. I replaced all that, except the EGR Valve still waiting on it, and the car still stumbles and is undrivable. I then noticed the catalytic converter was making a clattering sound when I revved the engine, so they are clogged and broken. Which would explain the EGR Valve issues and the melting sensor. The exhaust gasses are building back pressure. Now all this is my quick diagnostic and could very well be wrong and it could be another issue. I just wanted to state what I have done to try to fix it in the short term and what I believe to be the problem now. I recommend that you take it to a certified mechanic to find out exactly what is wrong with it. Like I said the car can not be driven. It does start and run, barely, if you give it gas. So if you buy the car it will have to be towed away. The car itself is in great shape. Just now starting to show signs of rust, but just surface rust from what I can tell. The interior is in great shape. Normal wear and tear for the car of this age. If you have any questions please ask. Do not assume anything! I can provide any pictures you may like as well. I want to say again this is a non drivable car in its current state. I believe the problem to be with the catalytic converters, but I am not 100% positive on that. You are buying this car as is where is. I have stated to the best of my knowledge the issue. Please do not assume my knowledge is correct have it looked at by a mechanic. Mileage is a rough guess since I am not near the car. I know it to be 198,000 something for sure. Attention!! Car has been relisted due to a non payer. If you have 0-10 as feedback on Ebay please contact me first before doing anything other wise I will be canceling the buy. Also, please only hit buy now if you are serious about purchasing the car at that price. Unfortunately I have had to relist this car multiple times due to fake buyers. Thanks
