2006 Freightliner Sprinter 2500 Cargo Van with 158” wheel base and high roof. This is the longest and tallest model available at the time. It has all of the standard options including the 2.7 liter inline 5 cylinder diesel engine. This engine gets significantly better fuel mileage than the new 6 cyl. models and is known to be very dependable well beyond 300k miles. The van is clean, only being used for toy hauling and various other light loads, and almost all highway miles, I can't remember exact mileage. A few small rust spots have developed on the body and I’ve addressed them with white paint as they appear. Though this is among the least effected examples I’ve seen, body rust is unfortunately a common problem to all white sprinters of this generation. Oil changes (synthetic) have been regular. There is an easily removable plywood partition with a bunk installed to the rear of the sliding door. The radio is disconnected but included, along with a newer Bluetooth head unit and upgraded speakers. I have had the van for a couple of years and it has been rock solid. I'm selling because I just bought a new sprinter. Shipping: Buyer should arrange to pick up vehicle within 2 weeks of auction end.
