This is a 1968 Mustang 289 Coupe that I purchased from the original owners family. This is a Southern car and is from Georgia. It was bought from Riverside Ford in Macon, GA on May 16, 1968. It was a Sunday driver that was stored in the carport until the 1990's it was moved to the barn. This car runs and drives great, I believe that the engine has never been rebuilt.(blue paint on the valve covers has never been cracked) Shifts fine, stops fine, no leaks, no smoking, not even at startup. Rare A/C car with factory compressor and all systems intact. Rare center console, remote left hand mirror, fog lights, Power steering. Wimbledon white paint is original as well as blue interior. There is a dent on the hood and fender, rust in the bottom of the quarters and spots in the floors. Dent in the passenger side near the side scoop. This car has never been raced or modified. From the carb to the oil pan is all original 1968. Interior will need to be recovered. Bid on this very rare and documented pure Mustang.
