1964 Pontiac GTO Base Coupe I AM INTERESTED IN SERIOUS BIDDERS! Call Paul at 571-238-6569 as a last resort call my wife at 571-331-9720 Up for auction is a very nice GTO. This car is in all original condition with the exception of the engine and transmission. Originally equipped with a 389 V8 now equipped with a 1968 400 V8 and a 400 turbo Hydro-matic Transmission. The engine runs strong and quiet. The transmission shifts nicely. This car came from Texas so there is not a rust problem of any kind. I have supplied pictures of the underside of the car to show you just how solid this car is. The interior is original carpet, seats and headliner. All in nice condition. No radio. Over the life of this car it has received 2 non professional paint jobs. Most recently I resealed the rear window as it was leaking and that did cause some minor rusting in the trunk, however ALL of that has been repaired. Because this car has been stored in a garage in the last 10 years of it's life, I had to install a new fuel tank, new sending unit, new fuel pump and new rubber fuel lines. I also installed a new Holley 600 CFM carb. Also had to install new battery and I just replaced all 4 tires on original rims with original hub caps. This car is a very nice piece to own. If you are serious about bidding on this car, please come and inspect in person or send your representative. My opinion may be different than yours is. I did take this car out on the road but only one time. I did run the car at length up on the lift. Terms: At the end of auction I will require a $500 (ONLY $500) into my paypal account within 24 hours of auction end. Payment due within 7 days of auction end. You may pay cash in person or bank wire transfer. I have a clear title. Storage: I will store inside for 7 days after the purchase unless other arrangements are made. I will store the car for 2 weeks after the end of the auction. (Unless you want longer storage, it will need to be discussed.) And we agree on terms of storage. Power steering leak at the gear box that has not been corrected yet. 2. Paper work from P.H.S automotive services, for showing the car is an original GTO goes with the car. 3. There is an aftermarket turn signal switch which the turn signals are operating off of, the original turn signal is available and will go with car. 4. The Door key and truck key did not come with the car, I am currently trying to find one and hope to find one soon.
