The miles are original and the bike was completely untouched other than maintenance. I treated the bike to a complete cosmetic and rolling restoration. The bike was completely stripped and repainted from top to bottom, all of the suspension, steering and wheel bearings were replaced, brakes were rebuilt and all finishes restored to as close to original as I could possibly get. The seat on these bikes was originally a faux suede vinyl that no longer exists so I recovered the original seat with real leather suede in the correct original colors. The front fairing is an aftermarket piece and is made from carbon fiber, the headlight nacelle which would have originally been finished in matt black is clear coated to show the carbon weave. The rest of the body parts are either original or factory replacement parts. The carbs were rebuilt and re-jetted, the original exhaust was re-plated in a modern black chrome (slightly different from the original black chrome) The bike runs and rides like it did the day it rolled off the showroom floor. This is possibly one of the nicest restored to original Katanas in the US today. The restoration included a lot of NOS OE parts and almost 2 years worth of labor. I’ve only ridden the bike about 100 miles since it was finished. A $250 deposit is required via paypal within 2 days of the auction end, and the balance is due within 7 days. Payment of balance is by wire transfer, money order, certified funds or by cash in person. Bike will be released only after the funds have cleared my bank. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but I will make every effort to accommodate your shipper. Unless otherwise agreed upon, the vehicle must be shipped or picked up within 10 days of the auction's end.
