I am losing storage space in a few months, and must sell some of my unique vehicles. All cars are garaged, covered, and stay on a trickle charger. I spent three years looking for this particular E46 convertible, and believe it must be one of the most beautiful 3 series cars ever produced. The combination of Imola Red exterior (only available with the M package), warm saddle brown leather interior, and black convertible top is simply spectacular. The original exterior is in outstanding condition, with a deep gloss that shines. There are perhaps a dozen tiny road rash spots on the front and rear bumper areas that were touched up by the previous owner, and otherwise she is nearly perfect. There are no dents.The interior is likewise almost as new. Even the driver's seat shows very minimal wear. All glass, including the convertible's rear window, is perfect, The convertible top appears as new. The optional 18" M series wheels are excellent, with the exception of one small area of curb rash on one wheel. As far as I can tell and smell, the car has never been smoked in, and the lighter and ashtray are both unused. All options work as they should, the air blows cold, and the top hydraulics work flawlessly. The Harman Kardon sound system is killer. I believe I'm the third owner (the second owner moved from Florida to Texas). There is no hint of rust, period. The enclosed photos are nice, but the car shows even better in person. The car has 55,500 miles, but looks like a two year old car. This unique car has the ultra rare ZHP package, a $3900 option that was only available between 2003-2006. It includes the M-tech suspension with firmer springs and shocks, larger diameter front and rear roll bars, lower ride height, higher output cam and software that added a very under rated 10HP, M aerodynamic package and subtle rear spoiler lip, reinforced lower control arms, free flowing 35MM stainless steel dual exhaust system, no speed governor, lower rear differential with finned cover and reinforced mount, high gloss shadow line trim, M steering wheel, and aluminum "black cube" interior trim. The BMW engineers put all these changes together to produced a totally different driving experience and balance not found in any other model. The ZHP has a cult-like following, with its own web site and club. The result of all these upgrades is a car that provides the perfect blend of performance and handling that has to be driven to truly appreciate. I have taken great care of this car, and she's never so much as seen a raindrop during my ownership. I spent $1500 a few months ago having a complete 60K service done that included replacement of the lower control arm bushings, which are rubber and had begun to get brittle. Anything that needed attention was addressed. Outside of this service, I have just replaced the battery. The tires have about 2000 miles on them. There are no fluid leaks. I have both original keys, the owner's manual and 8 other manuals that came with the car originally. The car needs nothing. The photos show cocoa floor mats, but I have the original carpeted mats that go with the car instead to keep her 100% original. Whoever wins this auction will be MORE than happy with their purchase. I am about 45 minutes south of the Atlanta airport, if an out-of-town buyer wished to fly in and drive her home. I will also be happy to assist with you having the car shipped. I'm retired and flexible on availability. My ebay history is perfect, and I stand behind everything I have stated here, Inspection by a third party is welcomed. I will not discuss my reserve price. Please don't waste my time bidding if you don't have the funds available, and the car doesn't leave my storage before my bank says the check has cleared. Wiring funds would be preferred.
