2001 Ford E-350XL 1 ton Van. Dedicated CNG with extended range tanks. New tires, brakes, alternator, serpentine belt, main pressure regulator and coil plugs(8). Spark plugs were professionally changed. Class III trailer hitch will pull heavy loads with ease. Van is mechanically perfect, no transmission problems or leaking/using oil. Perfect. 136,000 miles. Might seem like a lot of miles... not so for a CNG Motor... the cleanest emission vehicle you will ever drive. There are enough stations now to drive across the USA. This was a California Vehicle until 2010. Van was a Los Angles Harbor Authority Fleet Vehicle (Government Vehicle), so initial service was not an issue. Excellent running and mechanically sound. Great gas mileage. Spare cng module for engine and factory repair manuals (4). Where do I fill up? Go to cngnow dot com or afdc.energy.gov/fuels/natural_gas_locations. This van has 4 tanks each with electronic shutoff valves. Turn the van off the tanks are shutoff. This is handy when doing engine repair. The engine is the same mechanically as a gas engine with the exception of cng gas fuel injectors and an additional cng spark module to adjust the engine to run on 130 octane natural gas.
