For sale by owner, 2002 JAGUAR XJ8, luxury car with only 112,450 true miles, which is only about 8K miles per year! NO RESERVE AUCTION! Let me first list the things that are great about this car. The car starts right away, idles great and stady, drives smooth like a luxury car should. Engine and transmission are PERFECT. Engine purrs like a kitten, a very powerful V8! Transmission shifts perfeclty like in a new car. A/C is ice cold, seats are electric with memory and work fine. Sunroof open and closes fine, all windows work great, electric power telescopic steering wheel with volume controls and cruise. Wood is in a great condition as well. It's a non smoker car, so no bad odor inside. The headliner is also perfect. This car has a clean title and shows no accodents reported. This car is also great on gas, 24 MPG on the freeway is a good number for the big V8. The body is straight and seems like a fresh paint job was updated few years back, as one can tell, which is a good thing. Engine compartment is so clean, one can eat off of it, it is beautiful! Also this car has a recent oil change, and NO licks of any kind. Now, let me list things that are needing some attention. Keep in mind you are buying a car for the fraction of the cost. This car was new $60K-70K. It is a 14 yo car and only cost you $3,500 to BUY NOW. Although its a NO RESERVE AUCTION! ( please email me with all the questions before bidding) So, the things that need some attention are: Check engine light is on. I had it scanned and it shows one of the coils needing a replacement. Its no big deal and cost about $100 plus labor. I could fix it, but dont want to invest any time or money into this car and selling it very cheap for you to bring it up to your standards. Seats are showing some wear but no big rips. The driver's side door handle needs a fix. Little springs inside is broken off and now I open the door from the inside when I lower the windows with a key. I had a mechanic look into it and told me its about $60 on ebay for a new door handle, or junk yard, many are available, its an easy fix, takes 30min to get it done. Again, I dont feel like investing my time or money in it, just want to sell it as is. Thats it! I have been driving this car daily,and I trust it 100%. It's been great, since I bought it 1.5 year ago. Now driving another car and this one just sits all covered and cleaned up. I think it is time for it to find a new home, new owner. Could it be you?
