Up for auction is this super nice 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS that's been babied by its' original owner for the last 19 years, These are quickly becoming the classic to collect for the near future. This car has been obviously pampered by its' original owner and maintained its' stock condition with exception of the addition of the Borla exhaust. Mechanically it's 100% with new front and rear brake pads and rotors. No check engine lights and all monitors are ready with no pending codes, for this is the first year of the OBII computer. The LT1 engine idles and runs like the day it left the factory. Super nice acceleration and with no engine noise, misfires or hesitation. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly and delivers the power of that LT1 to the wheels positively and reliably. The exterior of the car is in very nice condition with no fading, peeling, checking or rusting paint! The black paint has a great gloss and bright finish. The five star 17" aluminum wheels are like brand new with no curb scars, corrosion or bubbling clear coat. Tires are within wear limits with nice even wear. Window glass is nice and clear with no evidence of cracks, stone chips, scratches or de-lamination. Headlight are nice and clear. All bright work on the vehicle is very nice. The interior is very clean, no rips, tears, burn holes or excessive wear. Appears to be a non-smoker car and has no interior odors. Carpets are clean with no stain or wear or fading. Everything is operational in the car. All power equipment operates properly, AM/FM radio and CD player and AC blows ice cold.
