1983 Chevy Short Wheel Base Pickup1983 Chevy pickup, short wheel base, runs good, 350 motor (2 pc seal) used crate motor-- it was installed 2 yrs ago driven minimal miles since then--uses no oil--doesn't smoke--NO noise are knocks --hi-rise and Holley--plugs are dry--good power, 350 trans that shifts out good, new head liner, decent interior meaning the cloth is worn on both sides of seat bottom (see pics), but foam and frame and seat back are good, dash has 2 cracks but doesn't look bad (pics), carpet is decent, good tires, the bed is in good shape except for a small rust repair over the passenger and driver rear wheel wells --bed underside or inside isn't rusted or all dented up--good fit between bed and cab-- cab is not rusted on underside or floor-pan except for 2"-3" spot by outer brace(see pics) and that brace has rust but has enough integrity to hold up floor-pan (see pic), tailgate isn't bent are dented up, some rust repair meaning new cab corners and rockers were put on but weren't tig welded in and inner rockers are decent (see pics), A/C is not complete needs compressor and condenser. dual exhaust with 1 new mufflers installed in last year the other the year before, the brakes are good, the power window on driver side doesn't work (the switch is good and gets power) so the motor is probably bad and pass door has window crank. The previous owner put the hood with scoop on it( fiber-glassed on poorly){see pics} I have added the pics so you can have a better idea of the truck It is not a perfect truck, I will say it is a good truck for using it for what it was intended and it will hold the value or go up. .It could be a candidate for a restoration or just drive it...
