Vehicle Detail
2006 Triumph Scrambler with modifications Single Owner Bike Modifications include: *Speed Triple handle bars (lower ride position) *Napoleon Bar-end Mirrors *Arrow 2-1 Stainless Steel Exhaust (w/ removable baffle) *heated grips (DIY Kimpex kit from Aerostich) *Bonneville seat *Aftermarket plastic "oil-tank" airbox side covers *DIY double opening airbox with Uni foam filter (see Pictures) *O2 sensor and measuring device (Innovate LC-1, w/ new O2 sensor) *Hagon rear shocks (a much needed improvement over stock) *Progressive fork springs with Race Tech cartridge emulators *slightly shortened turn-signals (DIY) and painted hammer-tone *Engine clear-coat stripped to bare aluminum. Clear coat was prone to chipping so I went bare metal rather than painting it black, etc. Has a nice patina. *No passenger pegs. Never needed them. >note, the main foot pegs are the smaller passenger pegs from the rear *BRAND NEW Ricks Motorsports Stator and Rectifier/Regulator (installed June 2015, tested, never ridden far) *Aftermarket Floating front brake rotor *air-injection removal kit *Larger Triumph tank badge *New chain and front & rear sprockets installed less than 5 k miles ago. Condition of the bike and accessories: *The front and rear rims have been dented and repaired. Hit potholes in NY state. The bead of the tire sits true, but the outer lips of the rim do show the dents. *The access nuts on the top of the forks show wrench marks from changing the fork innards *The headlight has a crack in the glass from the first year of ownership. It has never leaked, so I never bothered replacing it. *The rear brake light lens has been cracked and repaired. I backed it into a metal dumpster turning around in a tight alley. *The engine clear coat has been removed, and the engine gets a nice dull gray patina. I periodically clean and polish it. It could be painted or re-clear coated. *Engine has new oil and filter installed 12/2013. Engine has been run periodically but not ridden since then. *Carbs recently disassembled and cleaned. Current main jets are a little lean, but I have most different sizes of main jets to be included with bike. * Bar-end mirrors show their age in their finish and have some scratches in finish. They still function well. *Front tire is new with low miles. *Rear tire will need to be replaced in the next thousand miles, depending on how you ride. *Bike was used mainly as longish distance camp/tour bike, from NJ to Tennessee or Louisiana.
