1984 Mustang Gt Convertible "No Reserve".This mustang is privately owned with 87,xxx original miles.I am going to list all that I can remember,so please feel free to request more information,or photos.History;The car originally came from San Bruno,California,and made its way to Michigan in the mid-nineties.The California emissions sticker is still on the sail window,and all the original California emissions equipment,is,in tact,and works as it should.I also still have the original keys stamped (Art's San Bruno).The car was rust proofed before it came to Michigan allowing it to remain rust free.In 1996 the stock exhaust was replaced with an H pipe dual set up,but is fairly quite,and still in great condition.The tags from the ford dealer in 1996 still remain on the exhaust hangers.I do not know when the styling bar,or spoiler were installed.DriveTrain;Engine 5.0 302 H.O.The Engine electrical,hoses,break lines,vacuum trees,and lines,fuel lines,radiator,etc are all original,are in good condition,and work as they should.The engine its self is all original from Carburetor to oil pan,aside from tune up parts.The harmonic balancer was replaced two years ago,and,I still have the original.Trans;T5,5 speed,The clutch has only a few hundred miles on it.It was replaced due to age,and not failure.At that time the bearing retainer,clutch cable,both bearings,and clutch fork were also replaced.I do still have the original parts,and receipts.There has been no rebuilds,and the trans shifts as it should.Rear end;7.5,with stock internals,the fluid has been changed yearly.There are no noises,or issues.The car is a four lug,with pony wheels,and Pirelli tires,with excellent tread remaining.The suspension is all original,and the car rides very well,and quite.It could use an alignment,but,I have no current issues driving short,or long distance.The breaks are a few years old,but require no service,and present a firm peddle feel,and consistent stopping power.Paint;As you can see in the photos,the paint has retained much of its gloss,and depth.That being said,the top sides are becoming a little thin with age,and there is a blemish shown in the photos mid-deck lid.There are very fine clear coat scratches,but will within being wheeled out.There is one ding,in the drivers door,also shown in the photos.All original stickers from the assembly line are intact,readable,and present on the body,and underside of the hood.The body tag is still attached behind the radiator,and,I have both metal tags for the transmission,and rear end.Paint underneath the car is also glossy and intact.Interior;Everything in the interior works,all gauges/dash lights,power top,warning lights,cabin lights,stock radio,and stock amplifier.The interior as a whole,is almost like new,as shown in the photos.The top for the center console needs the latch,but still functions as it should,no other issues,and no missing pieces.I have the proper truck carpet,I just took it out for the photos.The shifter was replaced with a pro 5.0 model due to the original wearing out,the boot,and shift knob were also replaced due to age.Nothing else replaced.Top;The top is in good condition.There are no tears,or repairs,or dry rot,and the entire system is original,pump,lines,etc,also has a glass back window.Options;No air,power breaks,power steering,Fog lights still work,with original covers,no cruise,tilt wheel,cassette player with optional amplifier,manual windows,manual locks,power top with glass window,manual drivers,and passenger seat,no rear defrost.Comes with original spare tire,Jack,and tire iron,with bag.As the owner;The car has been enjoyable to own,it does not cost a lot to maintain,and asks for very little.The car runs very smooth,and all around quite,both chassis,and drive train.The car has been adult owned,stored,and kept from weather its entire life.This is very evident by its current condition,and will come with its full soft car cover.There are no leaks or repairs needed,in its current state.My wife,and I put about 300/500 miles a year on the car,and it will not be driven during auction.A 500 dollar payment is due at auctions end,and the remainder is due at within 72 hours.Payment through paypal,or cash at pick up.I will store the car for a short time,and arrange access for a transport truck if needed.I have many current photos,and,a current video of the car running at idle.If there are any other photos,or information you would like please email me,I will promptly respond,Thank youOn Oct-18-15 at 09:42:48 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to add,in the ad that the headliner for the top is not there.Only thing,I can think of to revise.On Oct-19-15 at 13:03:11 PDT, seller added the following information: For questions,or more photos you can email,or call. pelka_r@yahoo.com,or 810-834-0023On Oct-19-15 at 18:09:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Discription:
