In classic Pininfarina tradition, it can be rightfully described as a rolling work of art. This Pininfarina 404 Cabriolet made its first appearance at the Paris Motor Show in October 1961. In the 1965 American market a $3,899 price put the 404 Cabriolet (convertible) in the same price bracket as the Jaguar E-Type. I have had the pleasure of owning this wonderful automobile since 1986 when the original owner sold it to a dealer and a I saw it that same day. From 1986 to mid 2011 the 404 cabriolet spent most of its time in and around Beverly Hills, Ca where, when I drove it, someone would say "wow what a beautiful car - what is it". With 4 on the column quick easy shifting makes the 404 cabriolet a pleasure to drive. With a red body, a black interior and a black rag top this 1967 Peugeot 404 Cabriolet is, top up or top down, simply a delightful, rare, and important automobile.
