1955 Ford F-100, V-8, 239L, Manual The truck you are bidding on is a "One Family" owned vehicle. My Grandpa and Dad bought this truck at the Ford dealership in Denver Colorado, 1955. They made the drive from Pueblo, CO because my grandpa wanted Meadowmist Green and the Pueblo dealer only had red. This vehicle lived in Colorado and was used for minor work, transportation and driving to the fishing hole. After my grandpa passed away in the early 1980's, my father brought the truck to Southern California where it lived in a dry climate and used as his occasional commuter car. In 2002 my dad moved to Montana where the truck has lived in a covered shop until now. There is very little rust and the body is in great shape. I have tried to depict everything in the pictures. Note: what looks like rust on the passenger side floor boards is mostly old adhesive. My grandfather built the topper in the '60s. It slides right out (no bolts) and can be removed fairly easy with a few people. The wood in the bed of the truck is in good condition after being covered all these years. The pictures show the couple of areas that have signs of wear. Almost everything on this vehicle is original. My father replaced the fuel tank with a composite one. Two tail lights have been installed. The lights are currently not working and need to be rewired. The front window has a fan shaped crack on the passenger side. All the other windows are in good shape. The mechanisms to role down the windows work as do the door locks. The current rims are 15" but I have the original 16" that came with the truck (shown in the pictures). The cushions need replacing along with the door covers and headliner. The truck currently runs and drives. It has a new starter solenoid, oil pressure gauge, ignition lock cylinder, battery and tie rod end. Please, only serious buyers.
