Custom Ordered 2008 LS3 Chevrolet Corvette – Velocity Yellow Tintcoat Welcome to my Auction. This is my personal 2008 LS3 Corvette, which I custom ordered direct from the factory. I took delivery the same day the Corvette was delivered to Harriman Chevrolet, NY and it never sat on the dealer’s lot. I paid for the Corvette in full prior to delivery, I own it, there are no liens and the Title is clear. The vehicle is registered, New York State Inspected and insured in my name. It’s my fun car as I drive it primarily on Friday’s, weekends, vacations from Spring into Fall. I do not drive the Car during the Winter months and kept stored out of sunlight to preserve the Velocity Yellow Tintcoat which you can see in the pictures still shines bright today. Mechanically:There is nothing mechanically wrong with the Corvette. The engine and transmission are sound. Corvette starts right up, shifts smoothly and accelerates normally and fierce as LS3 Corvettes are known for. The ride is smooth and feels balanced. Exterior: I know Corvette owners, including myself go over every inch of the paint... This is not a brand new Corvette, so when you come here to test drive, please don’t expect a factory show-room perfect Vette. It has some minor scratches and chips, but overall, still in very nice condition, if not nearly excellent, and you will see I've taken care of it. It's stored & protected from Salt & sunlight all Winter, remaining out of sunlight during Spring & Summer until I decide to drive it. The Velocity Yellow Tintcoat remains brilliant and should stay that way if the new owner stores as carefully as I have. Like all C6’s, the plastic headlight covers have faded over time but both expensive HID’s both work. The transparent roof panel is in very good condition too. Electrically:The Radio always works, but occasionally the sound will cut in and out from the Speaker. Sometimes this happens after opening and closing the driver side door, probably the result of a loose wire. It started happening a few years ago and never bothered me enough to get repaired. Occasionally the dashboard gives a Tires pressure warning but in my experience it's been a false reading which happens usually in the mornings. The Climate Control system works perfectly, including everything on the Instrument Panel; Cruise control, power seats, Wipers, Derfrost, Fuel/Trunk buttons, everything works. Wear and Tear items: The Tires are still good and all manufacture matching. The performance zinc plated Rotors appear excellent and Pad's are good. The Parking Brake needs a tightening adjustment, and for whatever reason requires this every few years. Just ask the shop to adjust the next time they change the Pad’s. The Windshield Wiper blades are original, you might want to change them. Accidents:The accidents on AutoCheck were extremely minor, 100% cosmetic. Only the Bumper and Fender were replaced and taken off another Velocity Yellow Tintcoat Corvette, for an exact match in tintcoat. I wanted these factory painted panels so there would be no paint work, for a perfect factory match. AutoCheck had certified the issues were minor, that is attached to this Ad. Maintenance RecordsI've maintained meticulous records of maintenance receipts in the pictured Binder. All Oil changes were 100% Synthetic and the Transmission flush, dealer serviced. I only used 93% octane Gas (occasionally 91% if 93 was not avail). Vehicle TitleThe Vehicle Title is original, clean, without lien and in my possession. Test Drive: Serious buyers are welcome to test drive M-F after 5:00pm and daily on Weekends. I welcome your independent mechanic to inspect too. I’m the only owner, so I know it's been taken care of and not abused. I receive constant remarks that the Vette still looks brand new.
