Vehicle Detail
1979 L82 corvette corvette light blue w/ oyster interior You still see a few late 70s vette's on the road but you don't see very many like this with the color options this car has and I think the color of the body and interior makes it kind of classy. Well it is a true 1979 L82 corvette w/225hp wich at that time was pretty serious horse power but now you can get 300 horse six cylinders so you probably won't be winning any races against any of the modern cars out there but you aren't going to buy a classic car to take it out and beat on it...you will buy it to drive and enjoy and here is a car that I think you can enjoy. It is like I said a true L82 # matching corvette that has been in storage for quite some time by evident of the moth ball smell as soon as you open the door but that kept all the little varmits out of it so no chewed up wires or carpet or that kind of stuff. It is in need of a complete tune up with plugs, wires, cap and rotor plus the egr valve is noisy so that will need attention too. The drivers seat has a split at the side seam but that should be a simple repair but the passenger seat is pretty good and the carpet is dirty but not ripped so all in all the interior is not bad and it is a pretty rare color (oyster) The motor has around 103.000 miles and the trans shifts really good. It goes down the highway at around 190 degrees and the T-tops do not leak(and the storage bags for the tops are still with the car) and I don't recall any air leaks around the doors or windows and the tach and speedo are in working order and the lights work as well. It is sitting on the original 15x8 Kellsey Hayes wheels but the tires are old they look good but there old. The frame and underbody are almost perfect with no sign of rust or any previous damage of any kind and the only damage to the body I found was a 1" crack at the top of the drivers side rear wheel well. So here it is for you to buy as it is a no reserve auction or you can use the buy it now button and save some time or if you have any questions about the car you can give me a call at 231-206-5258 my name is kirk
