Hello and Thanks for looking at my Volvo. I know that I am going to regret selling this car. But I have started a TR6 project and need the garage space. This is a super straight rust free California Volvo GT. It has never been in an accident and has an extremely nice respray over its original paint. At the time of the paint job, the doors, hood, glass, trunk-lid and glass were removed. The factory stripes have been correctly reapplied. The bumpers, trim and moldings have been replaced or refinished. It has a new windshield and seal. The car currently has an early GT front spoiler installed which I prefer. I have the correct 1980 spoiler that will be included in the sale. The car looks fantastic and can be shown or enjoyed. Your choice. It has cold A/C and a nice period correct radio. It has a very nice, rebuilt GT instrument panel with LED lighting. Everything works as it should, Headlights, fog lights, heat, A/C, wipers, radio, turn signals, sunroof (no leaks), lighter, side lights, gauges, overdrive, etc. all operate properly. The car has a new from the manifold back exhaust system. And new front struts, strut mounts and alignment as well. It leave a small oil spot from time to time that I suspect is the oil pan gasket. The car starts easily and settles into a nice idle. It accelerates, steers, shifts, stops, sounds, smells just the way Volvo intended. It has a new water pump, timing belt, fuel filter and transmission service within the last 3000 miles. It is a pleasure to drive and could easily make it from coast to coast. The wheels shown in the pictures are new Lenso 17 x 7.5 mesh with new Pirelli 225/45/17 tires and are available for and extra $800. They have no clearance issues and look fantastic. Otherwise the car will be sold with the original Volvo Virgo wheels and decent stock sized tires. The interior is extremely nice with no cuts or tears. The dash has no cracks and the car has never been smoked in. The headliner and carpeting is perfect. The passenger door latch requires a little more effort than is standard and could use an adjustment. Additionally, the driver's window regulator has a vibration as the window goes up and down. It functions fine but I have a new regulator to be installed at some point. I have a lot of receipts going back to the original bill of sale from VIP Motorcars in Palm Springs California dated 9/27/80. As well as the original owners manual. These cars are getting very difficult to find. One in this condition is rare. Low miles, accident free, no rust, perfect paint, original unmodified. My asking price is very reasonable. Particularly for the miles and condition. Please ask all of questions that you may have prior to making an offer. Please feel free to personally inspect the car or have a third party do so.
