Please look at my feedback, I am a very passionate car guy that is very transparent when selling. I love to play with stuff for a bit and then move on to the next one. I make them as nice as they can be while I have them in my possession. I love this stuff and it loves me back! This one's painful but I have another car insight so here we go. This is one special car because of the only owners history and collection. I purchased this car out of a local Viper collection and you read it right, only 1 owner! At the peak of his collecting, he owned 10 or 11 Vipers with one holding the "Fastest Viper in the country title" for a short time. The gentleman is now in his 80's and simply doesn't drive the cars enough to justify keeping them. He had a Viper tech service all of the cars in his collection throughout the years and always kept them all on trickle chargers. After this car went through it's break in miles, it was sent back to Tate Dodge and they installed a Edelbrock Header, Borla Cat Back Section, Red Smooth Tubes and a Forced Induction Cold Air Intake. On the earlier cars without the snout, these would only suck hot air off of the motor, but after 1996 with the addition of the air snout they breath cold, ambient air outside of the engine compartment. It has a very tasteful pop, gurgling sound that you find yourself never needing to reach for the radio! Again, this was dealer installed and does not cause any engine lights to stay on, functions as factory. The car was never beat on or raced. He had track specific Vipers for track events. If you are looking for a very well maintained, very tight, serviced & stored properly Viper, than this is your car. Everything works properly and the car needs nothing. The upgraded Cognac Connolly Leather is so much cooler while the tops off and adds a bit of an exotic feel to the beast. Tires are very good and the rears were replaced a couple of years ago, roughly 6/32nds and matching OEM Michelin Pilot's. The front bumper has very minimal imperfections even on the underside, he knew how to drive these cars! I have the CARFAX reflecting it's a 1 Owner vehicle with zero accidents, which I can email upon request. The car comes with the following: 1) Painted Hard Top 2) Soft Top 3) Viper Car Cover 4) 2 Sets of Keys & Fobs 5) Books The negatives, and I'm going to pick this car apart like I'm a judge at Pebble Beach due to the nature of the car! The 2 passenger wheels have very light curb rash on under 50% of the outmost edge of the wheel. The rash does not come onto the face, just on the very tiny outer edge of the wheel. If you are 5ft away, it's not visible. There are 2, smaller than a dime marks on either side of the edge of the trunk. They have been touched up and look good. If you have ever climbed into one of these cars with a top on it, you will know you brace yourself by placing your arm on the center console. Due to this, there are some lines where the console has cracked on the underside. You will see this in the pics. It's not bad, just looks like an imperfection. I'm slightly OCD and could live with it. I have personally owned and driven over 20 of these cars and it doesn't get any tighter than this. The SRT Group is known for building a massive, powerful, awesome machine but quality and consistency is not their forte.... This Viper is right and anyone looking for a great one will be very happy.
