Please look at my feedback, I am a very passionate car guy that is very transparent when selling older, higher mileage cars. I love to play with stuff for a bit, and than move on to the next one. I make them as nice as they can be while I have them in my possession since I can not drive a car with problems. I love this stuff and it loves me back! So it's time to sell the car I purchased for my wife to have some fun with over the summer. It was traded in on a new BMW back in the spring and it looked & drove too nice not to let the wife have it for a couple of months. After all, she is driving a big suv around all the time with kids in tow, she needs to have some fun every once and awhile. When I purchased it I had the local Mercedes specialist run through it to complete a multi point inspection. The Michelin tires were installed in 2013 and still have plenty of tread left, roughly 6-7/32nds, brakes are good, oil was done in spring 15' and there are zero lights on, on the dash. I can't stand owning a car with any problems or warning lights. The air conditioning blows ice cold, top works flawlessly, radio/CD changer & navigation perform as new, all steering wheel controls and climate control functions operate as they should and keyless entry operates correctly. This car spent almost all of it's life in Dallas, TX and it shows as such. I have the CARFAX in hand and would be more than happy to email it to anyone interested. The car comes with the following: 1) 1 Key 2) Windscreen 3) All Weather OEM Mercedes SL Floor Mats 4) Printed Manual 5) AUX Headphone Jack for music 6) #8 Navigation Disc 7) CD Changer Cartridge 6 Disc 8) Front Tag Bracket The bad, it is a 143k mile car and has a few scratches here and there. I call the car a 5 footer, from 5ft away the car looks amazing but if you get up on it, it does have a few scratches that would need to be painted, they're through the clear. There is a slice on the underside of the front bumper, someone pulled too far forward onto a concrete curb, but could be fixed with a tasteful add on front lip spoiler here on ebay. They have one that makes the front of the car look like a sport for around $200, minus paint/install. The ones I have installed in the past run around $500-750 all in. The car has a very small exhaust leak, most would not notice, and if I kept it I would fix. That is a bit of my OCD talking though.If you are looking for a cheater hardtop convertible that you will run to dinner on Saturday nights or to church on Sunday, than this is your car. This IS NOT a auction car with a dash that resembles a Christmas Tree, all lit up! It's a cheaper, well sorted, detailed, ready to be driven $100k new SL500 that does not need thousands to make right. I would drive the car across the country today.
