1978 Chevrolet Corvette L48, 21,600 miles, 100% factory original three-owner car, very nice fitting T-Tops no apparent leaks, amazing unfaded original red leather interior and leather-wrapped steering wheel, original floor mats, cruise control, power windows, power steering, power brakes, factory AM/FM radio with 8-track and a collection of 8-track tapes that have resided with the car since the 70s, factory gauge package, tilt, rear defroster, factory original L48 350ci motor and TH350 automatic, everything works as intended and the car is 100% roadworthy to drive anywhere. The car has a full ownership history with original sales slip, owner's manual package, original keys and yearly registrations. The original owner was a local enthusiast/collector who kept the car until 1987 when it had about 18K miles. It was always stored winters. The next owner drove the car about another 3K miles and then stored it in his basement in 1992. The car emerged again in 2014 when the 2nd owner retired to Florida. It still sported the original tires and looks new inside due to the minimal amount of sunlight that hit the red interior. There's actually some of the original plastic wrapping on the bottom of the passenger seat. In making the car roadworthy again, the car has been fitted with new white-letter tires, new calipers and pads, new fluids, the new Y-pipe, R134 A/C compressor and new belts. The original Goodyear Polysteel tires are available if someone wants those originality points at the car shows. The car sports original paint and decals. It has never been hit or spot painted anywhere. Mileage will likely be over 22,000 by later this week. The car will be in Hershey PA through Oct 10th and moved to the Philadelphia PA area as of that day.
