This vehicle was purchased new in 1991 and equipped with hand controls and a wheelchair/scooter lift. After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, I needed to remain working and independent, and having the use of the hand controls and lift system helped. This minivan can also be driven without the hand controls and would be ideal for a caregiver that needs assistance lifting a wheelchair or scooter. Please note that this system does not lift the person while sitting in the wheelchair or scooter. This minivan is a 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette. Service and parts for this model are available by General Motors companies. This minivan only has 79000+ miles and is in good working condition. It has new tires. The exterior has a small dent to the front bumper and scratches to the paint job. The electrical (lights, brakes, etc.) are in good working order. The two middle bucket seats which were removed to make room for the lift system will be included in the sale. There is a 3 passenger bench seat in the rear and storage in the hatch back area.
