1971 Ford Torino GT Sport Coupe 2dr (63F) Finished in Grabber Green (Z) with Med. Green Knitted Vinyl Buckets Seats (YR) with console shift automatic C6 (U) it has a factory ribbon tach in the dash, rim blow horn, hide away headlights, rear window slats or louvers. The car was found few months back in a barn in mid western Ontario. I have been told that it has a monster 460 cu.in engine which was told to me that it was one car to be reconded with in this local area. Know by many as a street fighter of the day. Would beat up on all the local Chevy's and Mopars back in the day. The good thing is the man who owned this car removed the very rare DOVE-A 4 bolt main block. So it makes this a great car to restore due the fact the original #'s matching block is in the trunk with the original correct water pump, cooling fan, shroud, and rad . The original DOOE-R cylinder heads are on the engine in the car. The original intake is lost in action along with the original carb. and distributor. The car has several areas of rust on it. It is a very restorable car. Has some nice options on it as mentioned before. The car was sitting for many years due the fact the owner passed away and was waiting for his estate to be straightened up. It was just released few months ago and sold, I could not let this rare car slip through my fingers so I snapped it up. So it could be passed on to somebody who would like a rare old Ford muscle car to restore. With great options on it. The car retains all of its original glass. Bumpers are straight, all of the important pieces are there and intact as we know hunting those parts can be hard. Please note I have not tried to start this car due the amount of time it has been sitting it turns free with socket and ratchet. Needs Fluids changed and fuel tank cleaned plugs should be changed and cyl oiled before running. I have been asked by several buyers if the Rad, Rad shroud, Cooling fan, fan spacer, water pump are correct and original. I inspected these items and are correct and in decent shape, only one thing I may note is the shroud has a small crack in it but would be an easy fix. I have seen a Marti report and all the options on the car are listed on it and are correct to this vehicle. So this makes this car very worth restoring back to its former glory. Do to its rare colour and options. Also will be easy to do being that all the parts are there with the exception of the factory am/fm radio.
