Vehicle Detail

1967 FORD FAIRLANE GTA 390 BIG BLOCK I am the 3rd owner of this Classic muscle car that has been off the road for 35 years. This 1967 Fairlane GT looks fast sitting still, but also had the 390GT to back it up. Please see the following from Kevin Marti as to the production details of this car: DOOR DATA PLATE INFORMATION Serial Number 7A42S143585 7 1967 A Built at Atlanta 42 Fairlane GT 2-Door Hardtop S 390-4V V-8 Engine 143585 Serial Number of this Ford scheduled for production at Atlanta 63D Fairlane GT 2-Door Hardtop T Candy apple Red Paint, Ford #2008-A 8D Red Vinyl Bucket Seats 11L Scheduled for build November 11, 1966 24 Jacksonville DSO (District Sales Office) 4 3.25 Conventional Rear Axle U C-6 Select Shift Automatic Transmission DEALER #: 24H209 Your vehicle was equipped with the following features: - F70-14 Wide Oval White Sidewall Nylon Tires - AM Radio - Heavy Duty Battery - Styled Steel Wheels Your vehicle was actually produced on November 14, 1966 -- three days behind schedule. Kevin Marti. Here’s a car that deserves a full blown restoration for the reasons stated: · Solid, original car · Good title matching all identification numbers including Marti, Door Tag, Radiator Support stamping, and ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET. · Factory ordered column shifter- very rare · Original sheet metal, glass, interior, frame structures, wheels, (tires?) · Original Front disc brakes and power booster · Original 9” rear · Original Candy Apple red paint and stripes · Original Red Vinyl seats · This car will be valuable when completed J Or, you could follow one of the biggest trends of today and leave the car as it is. Get the car running and driving with new components, but leave the appearance as is….This car has “patina” that can’t be duplicated, and would definitely draw a crowd at your local shows. More about the car: · I do not have the original motor or transmission (none included) · Body- As you can see by the pictures, the body is straight and solid with original panels and paint. No rust-thru issues in the engine compartment, frame rails, A and B pillars, rockers, and slight rust in the trunk floors. · Body panels- The front fenders do not have rust-thru, but do have light damage (bends) as shown by the pictures. The doors have no rust-thru and are straight. The hood and trunk lid have no rust-thru and are straight. The rear quarter panels have minimal rust-thru as shown, and the passenger side sustained some damage long ago. All repairable!! · Floor pans- Are very solid and original with no patches. I did notice some pin holes in the driver’s floor pan, but very repairable as the pan itself is solid. · Good stainless trim and all original glass. · 59,616 miles showing and is believed to be correct. · Original seats are in good original condition as the pictures show. Headliner has some mouse holes. Dash is not torn. Personal inspection of this car is welcome and encouraged. Please let me know if you need more, specific pictures. I will also answer all questions you may have. Finally, details on this auction: · This car is being sold AS-IS. · This is a no-reserve auction, so the car will sell for what she brings. · Payment in full is due within 3 days, no exceptions · Buyer is responsible to pick the car up within 30 days unless prior arrangements are made- the car will be securely stored indoors. · IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 5 FEEDBACK, PLEASE CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BIDDING OR YOUR BID MAY BE REMOVED! I do have a correct 390 block, heads, intake, crank, rods, etc available to the winner of this auction for a good price. It is not included in the auction, but will be made available (see picture) Thanks, and Good Luck! Jack
