Vehicle Detail

I'm selling my 1969 Honda Cl125a. This is a fairly rare Honda made from 67-69 and I believe only sold in the USA and Canada. It's the scrambler version of the SS125 and CD125, and completely different than the later single cylinder Cl125. This is the only one I've seen with an inline front brake light switch and an exhaust diffuser (which I believe were probably required by DOT by the time this was originally sold). I have a clear title for it in my name. Follow this link for a quick walkaround video, startup and ride https://youtu.be/pMGH9ijdvOc PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION THOROUGHLY AND CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING! I've spent the past year restoring this bike. Some work done includes: -Engine's been gone through. New piston rings, fresh hone. New gaskets and seals. (80 or so miles have been put on it since the rebuild.) -The frame and most parts have been sandblasted and painted. -Tons of hardware replaced with OEM Honda fasteners -New Duro tires that come very close to matching the original tread pattern -Carburetor's been gone through and the petcock replaced with OEM Honda parts -All electric works, including the horn, turn signals, headlight, taillight and brake light -New tail-light lens (I assume they changed it in 69 from the oval-style as the mounting bracket matches this one) -Most rubber parts have been replaced including high-quality reproduction fork boots, correct grips, driver foot-pegs and shift and kickstart rubbers (the cam-chain adjuster rubber cover is missing, I put a random piece of rubber on it to cover it but it's not original or correct). -New battery last year. -Cables have been lubed and the front brake cable has been replaced with a matching, very hard to find NOS cable with inline brake-light switch -Probably more little things I'm forgetting I tried to keep everything as original and correct as possible, the only exceptions I can think of are the fenders and handlebars. It came with CB style bars which I liked a lot more than the CL one's with the crossbar. Also the fenders which were originally chrome have been painted mimicking the SS125's grey fenders. Overall the bike looks nice but it's not prefect, the paint has some minor flaws and a couple small chips, the chrome has patina (hard to photograph), the headlight has a small crack near the turn signal and the muffler was patched at some point (see photos). I also don't have mirrors for it. It's no show bike but definitely a cool semi-rare Honda. It usually starts first kick and runs great. It will do between 50-60 mph (I think I got it up to 57 on a long stretch) but what it lacks in power it makes up for in style! Please contact me with any questions and if you have 0 feedback contact me before bidding. Shipping/pick-up is to be arranged by the buyer after full payment is received. I may be able to deliver for a small fee if you're not too far away, but please work it out with me before bidding! I've done my best to accurately describe this motorcycle but please keep in mind it's 46 years old and being sold as-is. Thank you!
