Vehicle Detail

1967 Pontiac Lemans convertible. *THIS CAR HAS A BAD FRAME!!! As you can see, this old Le Mans is in pretty bad shape. The biggest issue is the frame, which is rusted out on both rails pretty bad. I've had two experienced body guys look at the car, and both say that it would be hard to repair because there is no good steel to weld to. The fifth picture is the only picture that I have showing how badly the frame is rusted on BOTH frame rails. If you have a good frame, and want to build a project, here ya go. Rust has taken a toll on the body too. Virtually every body panel has some type of rust issue. The trunk floors are shot. I haven't checked the floor pans, but you should expect that they are shot too. Pontiac 326 engine. I have not checked it, but it may be locked up from sitting so long. As much as I hate to use the old line "ran when parked," it is true. The car ran fine when it was parked with no engine issues whatsoever. If the car does not sell, I am keeping the engine and the 2-speed power glide transmission. Again, THIS CAR HAS A BAD FRAME. Please ask questions. By the way, did I mention that this car has a bad frame???
