Up for auction: 1978 Suzuki GS550. I purchased this bike in original condition about 3 years ago on EBay to convert to a Cafe Race. The modifications are mostly cosmetic bolt ons. All original parts & emblems are included to restore back to original condition & appearance (original handlebars + chrome cafe bars in photo but only 1 mirror). New items are: front fender, "Wasp" fairing, billet aluminum grips, lower black handlebars, shorter black mirrors, "Phat" Cafe Racer seat cowl & pad, mini oval turn signals, led brake/tail lamp assembly, "Zero Gravity" battery (to fit under seat cowl). Most items were purchased from Dime City Cycles. Condition: The original seller stated bike was garage kept, never ridden in the rain & well maintained. I have treated it the same. I am 64 years old & do not ride it hard & have put less than 1,000 miles on it. Bike starts & runs great. Everything in very good working order, no shakes, rattles or noises. Engine & transmission are very smooth, no slippage in clutch; brakes, tires, suspension & chain are good. Front fork seals & fork oil have been replaced. This bike could be used as a daily driver without concerns. Original owner' manual, Clymer service manual & bike cover are included. Bike has Pennsylvania State Inspection good until 07/31/2016.
