For sale is my 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Convertible; green finish with light metal flake, tan custom original upholstery, chrome bumpers, etc; new white roof Car is in excellent condition: solid body, strong 390ci (6.4L) engine, expertly maintained; the car looks and sounds fantastic and is a joy to drive I am the third owner. I bought the car 8 years ago, during which time the car has been based in Cambridge, MA, and kept in an underground, secured, heated garage. The car has never seen road salt during the time I've owned it and has only light cosmetic rust at the edges of the bumpers I have used it mostly in spring and summer, with occasional trips in the fall before the snow begins. It runs smooth and comfortable, makes excellent speed on the highway, and turns a lot of heads driving around town. Finish has one flaw: paint has a roughly two-inch chip above the left front tire I've never bothered to have repainted.
