Reserve lowered again on my Jeep CJ7 I am selling my 1983 Jeep CJ7 in excellent original condition. The Jeep has 37468 original miles and has been very well cared for. Mileage may increase slightly due to running errands with it. Jeep has the 4.2 litre engine and 5-speed transmission, which shifts correctly. I purchased this Jeep from the second owner here in San Clemente, CA. It has led a pampered life since being purchased from Don-A-Vee Jeep in Bellflower CA. The Jeep was used at the previous owners vacation home in Lake Havasu, Arizona, or towed behind his motor home while on vacation. About 6000 miles are tow miles on this Jeep. I have the original dealer owners manuals with the dealership name stamped in the booklet. Great color combination on this Jeep, tan and nutmeg interior color, you will get lots of complements on this Jeep. Since the Jeep sat in a garage in a hot climate, some of the parts deteriorated and had to be replaced such as some of the vacuum lines and the carburetor. The carburetor was replaced with a rebuilt unit along with the idle solenoid. The Jeep idles fine with no issues, always starts on the first crank, even after being idle for a week. Fuel economy is about 20.5 miles per gallon on the freeway, around town it is about 13 miles per gallon. This Jeep has never been abused, no accidents, no frame damage, the interior is almost flawless (back of the back seat has some very small tears from cargo.) There is no rust what so ever anywhere on this Jeep, the floors in front and back are in excellent original condition. This Jeep passes smog tests with ease, never an issue. I will include a 3-ring binder of all parts and services provided on this Jeep. Here is a list of some of the replacement parts I have installed. Four new shocks and steering stabilizer, radiator hoses and manifold hoses, some vacuum hoses, ignition switch gear rack (pot metal rack broke), front brake lines (dried out originals), battery, battery cables, alternator, ignition coil cap, BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires including the spare tire, fuel tank hoses (2), muffler, windshield wiper blades, steering wheel sport wrap and green twine wrap on the spokes, valve cover gasket, CB radio & antenna (not shown but included), one pair of high intensity off-road lights, one pair of high intensity fog lights wired through high amperage switches, factory padded roll bar. The original carpet could be replaced, shows wear. All dashboard gauges work; the fuel gauge is off by 1/4 shows low. The Jeep is in great running condition, it always starts, shifts through all 5 gears well, 4-wheel drive works well, brakes stop the Jeep safely. Here is a list of accessories the Jeep came with, 5-Keystone chrome spoke wheels, trailer hitch, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, spare tire carrier, accent striping, AM/FM stereo radio, small winch (included but not installed.) Please review the pictures closely to determine the condition of this Jeep. I will provide all of the receipts on the Jeep for all work done over the years since new.
